Our process

Our goal, always, is to create a seamless, stress-free and enjoyable experience, from initial meeting to final walk-through.

Open, honest communication, a carefully phased process and a team of professionals working for and with you, ensure the journey towards your dream home is almost as wonderful as that moment you turn the key and open the door into it.

Introductory Meeting

Reach out and we’ll schedule a no-obligation meeting to see if we’re a good fit for each other, explore your wants and needs, and answer any questions. You’ll learn more about Scott’s experience, the project structure, fees and costs, land acquisition if required, and design possibilities.

Phase I: Contract & Design

  • If moving forward, you’ll meet to discuss your ideas and wishes with the architect, design team and landscape designers.
  • To ensure all the boxes on your wish list are checked, you’ll meet again for plan reviews with the designers and a final consultation with the architect.

Phase II: Pre-Construction

Key details are finalized at this stage through meetings covering:

  • Windows and exterior doors, including verifying orders
  • Audio-visual components held in our designated provider’s showroom
  • Exterior selection presentation

Phase III: Construction

  • Interior design presentation with the design team and project manager
  • Weekly site meetings with the project manager, beginning at the framing stage or as needed on site prior to that
  • Landscape final review meeting (including pool construction details and placement, if applicable)
  • New home orientation and final “punch” walk-through to make sure every detail is perfect
  • Move-in day!
